NKSSP has celebrated 196th Bhanu Jayanti at Petersham Town Hall, Sydney on 19th July 2009.
Program was chaired by NKSSP President Sujata Basnet, special guest chaired by Honarable Ambassador of Nepal Yogendra Dhakal. On the occassion of Bhanu Jayanti several poets read their poems. Several cultural dances and songs were also the attraction of program.
NKSSP also introduced first time in Sydney for the contribution of Nepali art and culture awarding BHANU PURASKAR to Miss Salu Limbu and Mr. Rajan Sharma for 2009.
Program was anchored by NKSSP's General Secretary Ramesh Baniya.
